News and notes: Riley Conservation Club is selling seats at the Terre Haute Friends of the NRA Dinner on Feb 25, 2010. Those interested in attending and sitting at the RCC table need to contact Gary Chaney for tickets. Tickets will be $25 per person and the event begins at 5:30 pm. The Riley Conservation Club is organized as a non-profit, for members only club, dedicated to preserving the environment through education of the public and responsible utilization of natural resources, and encouraging outdoor sport by making available a facility where planned and impromptu outdoor activities can be carried out. The Riley Conservation Club encourages the preservation and conservation of game animals by establishing a refuge for wild game. RCC also provides and regulates events and exhibitions for members of the Riley Conservation Club and the general public. Monthly meetings of the membership are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse.
